🌟 Young People in Work — Building the Future Together 🌟

In a time when opportunities for young people can often feel uncertain — with the UK facing ongoing economic, social, and employment challenges — supporting emerging talent has never been more important.

At Sporting PB, we believe that young people don’t just represent the future — they represent the now. Their ideas, energy, and resilience are exactly what our communities need. That’s why we’re committed to creating meaningful development pathways that give young talent the space to grow, lead, and thrive.

Developing young people isn’t a box-ticking exercise for us. It’s at the heart of who we are. It’s part of our DNA.

🎓 Meet Freddie Whitehead — A Rising Talent With Purpose

We’re delighted to shine a spotlight on Freddie Whitehead, a dedicated university student who has already become an invaluable part of our Sporting PB family.

Freddie brings passion, curiosity, and a refreshing commitment to learning — qualities that make him stand out from day one. Balancing his studies with hands-on work experience, he’s already contributing to our mission in meaningful ways.

What’s Freddie working on?

🔵 Supporting our schools programmes, where he helps introduce young people to physical activity, confidence-building, and the joy of movement.🟠 Contributing to our football programmes, guiding participants, supporting coaches, and bringing energy that young players instantly connect with.

Whether it’s encouraging a child who’s trying something new or helping a young athlete discover their strengths, Freddie is already making a positive difference.

What drives him?

➡️ A simple but powerful goal: to help every individual achieve their Personal Best — both on and off the pitch.

And the most exciting part? This is only the beginning of his journey.

👀 Look Out for Freddie in 2026!

Freddie will be returning to Sporting PB in 2026 to deepen his experience, continue his development, and take on even bigger responsibilities within our programmes.

You’ll see him supporting coaches, engaging with young people, and bringing fresh ideas to the table. And if you spot Freddie, be sure to say hello — he’ll always stop for a chat.

We can’t wait to watch his growth unfold over the next few years. Young people like Freddie are exactly why we do what we do.

🔵 Why Supporting Young People Matters to Us

At Sporting PB, empowering young talent goes beyond offering work experience. It’s about:

✨ Building confidence✨ Developing leadership skills✨ Providing role models✨ Opening doors that might otherwise stay closed✨ Creating real, long-term impact

When we invest in young people, we invest in stronger communities, healthier futures, and a more hopeful society. Every programme we run, every young coach we support, every school we step into — it all contributes to a bigger picture.

And young people aren’t just shaping their own futures. They’re shaping ours too.

✨ Here’s to the Next Generation

Here’s to supporting young people. Here’s to building pathways. Here’s to giving young talent the platform they deserve. Here’s to Personal Bests — for everyone.

Because together, we’re building more than programmes. We’re building futures.
